Background:
The building was designed by Karl Burman and completed in 1912. The house, which was initially built as an apartment building, features a high socle storey, 4 storeys and an attic storey; the building has a T-shaped ground plan, and a pent roof.

Metro acquired the real estate in August 2005, financing the acquisition with Metro R4 investment certificates in the amount of 740,000 euros.

During the reconstruction the initial function as a presentable apartment building, situated in a presentable downtown residential area will be restored.
